I chose this graphic design example because I think it communicates it's message very clearly. It is a logo and its purpose is to communicate to shoe shoppers that this company sells light weight shoes. I think the designer was first, given the parameters for the logos message, to convey that the company sells light weight shoes. Then they brainstormed, thought of a feather because that's light weight. Then they designed the logo by finding a way to combine a feather with a shoe.
